EILEEN TUMLIN
ARCHITECT
Eileen Tumlin, Architect, provides full architectural services and experience working on a
variety of residential projects including new custom residential design, additions,
renovations, and rehabilitation of vintage homes. With projects throughout the Bay Area
and Southern California, the firm offers a design process which respects the local context
while identifying and giving distinction to the unique qualities and patterns that are
important to each project… all with the ultimate goal of creating life-enhancing
environments that offer a timeless and universal appeal. Realizing that a home is perhaps
the most significant environment and investment one can have, our desire is simply to help
homeowners realize and create their dreams for a healthy, comfortable, and inspiring home.

Eileen Tumlin  received her master’s degree in architecture from the University of
California, Berkeley. Before studying architecture, Eileen received her undergraduate
degree in art. She has served on the Design Review Committee for the City of Martinez
since 2003. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Congress for the
New Urbanism, the California Preservation Foundation, Main Street Martinez, and she is a
founding member of the Building Process Alliance.
